After getting his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Agriculture from Western Kentucky University, J.P. attended The Citadel to work toward his M.B.A. while simultaneously beginning a career in sales for Motorola. His tenure with Motorola lit the fuse in telecommunications and that torch continues to burn within him today.

J.P. has started a multitude of successful telecom businesses, one that even merged with Nextel and eventually became part of Sprint. He has always been hungry for cutting edge technology. All his experience in business, mobility, phone systems and telecom is what lead him to the idea for a smart IP phone and Yazatel was born.

He has created an affordable, as he calls it “modern”, Cloud-based Intelligent Communications Company. Yazatel provides enterprise-sized phone capacity at a fraction of that price. The Yaza of his life’s work so far is proving to be quite a successful venture. Yaza, baby!

Todd is a graduate of University of Virginia Darden School of Business. With Todd on our team we can focus on the technical aspect of the business while Todd manages all things financial. Todd’s financial knowledge and throughput is an invaluable asset to Yazatel.

Todd is also a Director of Pioneer Ventures, an entrepreneurial investment firm providing consulting services to new business ventures. In his spare time, he is busy being a father to 5 wonderful children and husband to his beloved bride.

Donna brings to our team a vast knowledge of business communications. After acquiring her degree in electronics, she took on the role of Telecommunications Administrator for 2 different local hospitals, this experience provides Yazatel insight to the unique environment of deployment in the healthcare industry.

Donna has held numerous positions over the years in telecommunications, at various major national companies, overseeing unique installations both nationally and internationally. Although when asked which position she finds most rewarding and challenging, she will be quick to tell you it’s her job as Mom. When Donna is not overseeing the day to day activities at Yazatel, you might find her cheering on the local collegiate teams or spending time with her children and grand-puppies. Donna’s extensive telecom experience is an invaluable asset to our Yazatron team.

Cynthia is a valued asset to our Yazatel team. She is a graduate of the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!) with a degree in Visual Communication Design & Political Science. She has been involved in VoIP Communications in various roles prior to initially coming on board as our Senior Account Manager, but now holds rein over all things Marketing. Cynthia’s prior experience includes positions such as a technical Client Engineer, Carrier Relations specialist and Solution Management.

Her understanding of Contact Center Applications gives her an edge up on implementation of metric driven results. Cynthia’s experience and tenacity are both a true fit with Yazatel’s culture. In her spare time, you might just find her with a racquet in her hand at the tennis club or spending time with her sassy mini-me.

Philip began his IT carrier by serving 6 years as a U.S. Marine and 6 years in the Army – ranking Sergeant in both branches. Hats off to Philip for his 12 years of service to our country.  Some of the roles Philip has previously held are as an Intelligence Analyst, Data Network Specialist, Client Services Support, and Voice Engineer. Most recently, Philip was with West IP. Philip has attended both Glendale Community College and Cochise College.

In Philip’s spare time you would find him at a professional soccer game or on the racquetball court. Our motto here is, “give it to Philip and he will make sure the job is not only completed but with customer satisfaction guaranteed.”

Kirsten is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a BSB in accounting. During her college days, she also attended Baylor University and the University of Hawaii. Kristen has worked as a staff accountant and is now Yazatel’s trusty Comptroller.

Depending on the season, Kirsten and her husband can typically be found with their family and friends tailgating at the U of L football games or cheering the Cards to victory at basketball games. As the only female in her home she is the queen of her castle, as well as our financial guardian.

In Tila’s spare time she is with her family or cheering on her youngest daughter’s role as pitcher on a local collegiate softball team. If you ever want to know what a balk really is, she would be the one to ask. Tila’s third child (aka “beloved pooch”) has helped to earn Tila the nickname of Cinderella, as he is notorious for sleeping with just one of her shoes.

With nearly 40 years of leadership, management and company ownership in the staffing industry, Mr. Boone is recognized as the nation’s number one trainer in the temporary staffing industry. His clients have included leading worldwide corporations. Over the years, Mr. Boone has developed 12 separate multi-million-dollar staffing companies, selling 10 of them to national and regional firms. He is a partner of RCG Partners and owns and operates Michael Boone & Associates, an entrepreneurial firm comprised of several different business services companies.

Other companies under his leadership have focused on technology, software sales, bank processing, event coordination, and disaster relief services. Additionally, he has owned and operated several Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Mr. Boone earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics from Bellarmine University and has been active with various regional nonprofit organizations, including Dreams with Wings, Kandy For Kids, and Down Syndrome of Louisville.
