Ring Groups

Ring groups allow you to put certain phones into groups, sales or support for example, and ring everyone in that group when a particular number is dialed by a customer. Devices in a ring group ring simultaneously and stop ringing once the call is picked up by any of the agents in the group.

Visual Voicemail

No more calling multiple voicemail numbers because all of your messages are in one place. Voicemails can be converted to email and automatically placed in your Visual Voicemail inbox where you can save messages and then forward, prioritize or search them with ease.

Call history can be accessed directly on the desktop handset or via the Desktop Toolbar, Mobile App or User Portal. Each Yaza Polycom handset includes a call history of inbound, outbound and missed calls. To return a missed call, simply click the number and the call is placed.

Caller ID and Call Screening

Call screening allows you to talk to who you want, when you want and Yazatel takes call screening to the next level. When you enable Call Forwarding on your extension, use Call Screening to screen the calls that are forwarded to your mobile, home, or that beach house in Tahiti. The voice prompt will ask the caller to record their name before the call is forwarded and that recording will be played to you before you accept the incoming call.

Call Park/Pickup

Call Park allows you to “park” a phone call, placing it on hold to be answered on any other phone in the office. The caller is put on hold while you switch phones or while waiting for another team member to pick it up.

International Calls from Mobile

Make international calls from your cell phone for a fraction of the cost. Instead of making direct calls through your mobile carrier, make a local call through the Yazatel portal. You pay pennies per minute instead of dollars.

Call Swap

Change phones in the middle of a call by simply pressing the star button. The caller won’t hear the switch. You can also transfer a call to your cell phone or move the call from your cell to a landline.

Call Notification Screen Pops

Name Directory

Your Yaza system comes pre-configured with a professional “spell-by-name” directory. Callers are simply prompted to “spell the first three letters of the party’s first or last name.” They are then automatically connected to the requested extension. If you don’t want names, you can customize the directory to include department titles instead.

Find Me/Follow Me Call Forwarding

Find Me/Follow Me settings allow you to set calls to forward to a phone other than your office phone or to ring another phone simultaneously. This can occur either automatically or after a certain set of rings. Call forwarding is also done automatically based on your fail-back settings in the event of an emergency or if internet service is interrupted. If internet service goes down, calls to your extension automatically forward to the specified fail-back number, such as your personal cell phone, etc.

Routing By DIDs

Your business may have several numbers for different departments. With Yazatel’s ability to route by DIDs, you can seamlessly direct calls to the appropriate call menu/group based on the inbound number.

E911

Yaza’s certified E911 automatically associates a physical address with the caller’s telephone number and routes calls to the most appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for that address.

Call Center

The perception that Contact Centers are only for a cube farm with hundreds of users is naïve.  Any part of your business that touches the customer – billing, sales, customer care, help desk, etc. – is an area that could benefit from Yazatel’s contact center communications tools.

With Yazatel’s API stack, including call recording, an ad hock group of two can be monitored and managed while letting your customers enjoy the benefit of “Callback”, queues and faster response.  Management of more traditional Contact Centers delight in Yazatel’s WebRTC APIs with its customization flexibility which dramatically reduces the time-to-implementation curve.

YazaEdge provides device management, VoIP performance monitoring and troubleshooting, performance reporting and the automated provisioning of many VoIP devices.  Yazatel overlays our endpoints with Edgewater Networks EdgeView Service Control Center providing device and network monitoring capabilities including MOS scoring and reporting from EdgeMarc Intelligent Edges.

Users can monitor and control EdgeMarcs including firmware upgrades, configuration changes, backups and restore, password management and web proxy access through the EdgeView GUI.
